About the event

Directed by Dave Ward.

It’s 1900. Dracula, the best-selling novel by Bram Stoker was released three years ago and Professor Abraham Van Helsing is not happy. He was there. He knows The Truth. The Bloody Truth.

The professional vampire hunter and his three amateur actors stage a theatrical  production, hoping to establish, once and for all, the Bloody Truth of what really happened: the story of the vampire who sailed from Transylvania to Whitby leaving a trail of destruction in his wake.

A delightfully silly, fast-paced adaptation from Le Navete Bete and John Nicholson (author of our previous smash hit, The Hound of the Baskervilles).

*Please note that Saturday's performance will be a matinee.*

This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Nick Hern Books.
