A Bit About Us
Players Theatre is home to Players Dramatic Society, established in the 1920s by a band of friends. Award-winning and passionate about theatre, we are a friendly, welcoming society that enjoys being involved in and at the heart of community life.
Our comfortable 104-seat theatre is in Cheadle Hulme, Cheshire, about nine miles south of Manchester. We have disabled access, a loop system, free Wi-Fi, a well-stocked bar, lounge facilities, kitchen and car park.
The season comprises four main plays, with Players Youth Theatre (PYT) staging two further productions. PYT members are encouraged to audition and become involved with the main plays, and in all aspects of Players’ life.
For more information on upcoming plays and events, please select the What’s On page.
Please use the menu at the top of the page to find out more about us and our activities. Our varied social calendar runs throughout the year and non-members are always welcome to attend.
We look forward to welcoming you.
