A good tense thriller with Ray Gidley as Inspector Frost. Cast:

Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare, directed by David Burns, March 14th to 21st 2009

The play included 4 Youth Members and  nominations for awards in GMDF Full Length Play Festival, Section A are:

Best actor: Ian Wilkinson as Malvolio.

Cyril Hines Award - Best Actress (youth): Rose Huxley as Olivia.

John Alldridge Cup - Adventure in Theatre: Twelfth Night.

Harold Onions Trophy - Best Director: David Burns

David Lane Trophy - Front of House Organisation: Players

 

 

Murdered to Death, our final play of the 2008-9 Season was a well executed comedy, directed by John Price and played to very good houses all week. More details and picture to come.

Our first play of the season, Albert Nobbs by Gordon Steel directed by David Ward was presented to enthusiastic audiences from Sept 27th to October 4th.

 

Albert found that retirement was not quite what he expected!

 

David Burns and Val Middleton-Egan played Albert and Connie in this comedy, supported by Margaret Williams and Jo  Moor.
